Karaoke PARTY....... my Saturday and Sunday

So on Saturday I didn’t get up until like 2pm! Yeah that late. I did laundry and cooked food cause I was like super hungry. So I was somewhat productive for part of the day. Then I got ready to go to Krank It Karaoke. I was a very fun night but holy cow why was Krank it packed? We actually had to wait for like a while to get a table. If you’ve never been to krank It , you must know that it is never this crowded. Anyway it was Mindy, Marcus, Michele, Bryson, Alice, and myself (Selyna and Alicia made a brief appearance). It was so crowded that Michele and I only got to sing one of our duets of the three that we where planning on doing. We still gave an awesome performance of “Summer Night” from Greace and the crowd kinda liked it as we got cheered. But it’s a crowd favorite cause everyone knows it right? Anyway I can’t wait to go back and sing our other selections lol. I did also enjoy the line dancing and the cupid shuffle, by that I mean watching Marcus and Bryson dance it, yes they are white and sometimes lack rhythm yes but I still love yall. We then went to Whataburger and I proceded to make fun of some interesting characters that were there that night. Shout out to the really Mexican crowd that was there I loved ur hat! Another night where I went to bed at like 3:30am.

Sunday

Well this time I got up kinda early at like 11am because Bryson woke me up to go to Mass, which we did at Sacred Heart good times. We then went to lunch at McAllister’s where I did something that sounded like a good idea at the time. I don’t know now… I only had a half potato spud and a cup of chicken tortilla soup :O. I know me only eat that little of food, What! And… brace urself I was actually full for a bit. It wasn’t until 6pm that I got hungry again but by then I was stuck in Seymour and nowhere to go to eat, mainly cause I’m scared of small towns. So I had to wait until I got back to Wichita so that I could go get food, thank you taco bell you saved my life. OH, let me tell you they have this trap and they call it $5 box at taco bell. All I really wanted was just a grilled stuff burrito but…. NO that box was tempting me and well you know how this story is going to end as I don’t have self control so I got it and well that was the end of me. Lol. But yeah Seymour can we get a coffee shop going or something well something that is open on Sundays would be GREAT. Any who I once again got home at like 11am and then went to bed a bit short after that. I really had a lot to do this weekend and that made me happy!!! Thank you friends

New Post Read All about Friday........

Ok I promise this time that I will try to keep the blog updated lol so. This weekend was eventful because we had a snow day and I didn’t have to work so what did I do…… Well if you know me then u guessed I went shopping. First I went to lunch with some friends and then we went to the mall. I was able to get some good stuff on Sale at Pacific Sun and at Hollister. I know I shouldn’t be spending money but hey it was a snow day. After that I went home to catch up on my TV and to actually cook something for dinner. But then Mindy called and we decided to go back to the mall yay! But relax I didn’t buy anything this second time around against my better judgment. After all this activity I went all around town trying to find a drum set for rock band for PS3 Dear Wichita Falls why don’t you have it? Well after may failed attempts I actually found at Wal-Mart of all places, of course after I called about 10 times trying to find it. But yeah then we played rock band at Bryson’s house til like 2:30am and then I went home at like 3am. What a night!!!!! Wait till you hear what happened on Sat- Sun, I was really busy. I can’t help it if I’m popular!!!! I’m just saying

Mexico part 1

So I know that its kinda late but whatever. We got to Mexico and Im already having a blast I think that we're going to have to scratch the Beach idea becuase the weather is not working without us. I have been eating seafood non stop except for last night when we had Thanksgiving dinne! I know it souns weird but we had the turkey and the ham and all the trimming including my brocolli caourole (im sure that is way off but whatever) and I got to spend time with my cousins just talking and evenually watching The Proposal (yes i brought it with me) I never travel anywhere with it lol. My cousins liked it except I had to explain the whole "to the window. to wall.........." but none the less it was magical lol. We are going to the central market today so I am going to have a blask buying things lol. I will keep you all updated on what happends yay!

Week One ..... Done.

So I just finished week one of New teacher orientation well it was only three days but on Tuesday I had to go finish a technology assessment so for me thats all week. It wasn't as bad as I thought but we did get a lot of information that was kinda overwhelming. One thing I must say They do feed us WELL because we got breakfast burritos the two days and whataburger today for breakfast.

For lunch on wednesday we got chicken expresss Ummmmmm chicken strips and sweet tea

on thurs. we got Bar B Q again mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

and on today we got loaded bake potatoes mmmm. I can't wait to see what we get fed next week for faculty orientation. I did get to see my classroom and work in there. I'm getting a new chalk board and a new podium which is exciting and well new supplies all together. :) I'll have to continue later

another car accident

Dear New Car,

I seem to have some bad look because it hasn't been a year and so far I've had 2 accidents which haven't been my fault but both times they both require body work on my car. I don't know how I feel about that. I'm not going to lie I have been mad for like a day and some hours because this time the person who hit me didn't have insurance so I had to make a claim under my insurance and pay the premium of $500, of which i don't have lol, but i will make it work. And im trying to get it fixed before I have to head back to Wichita falls, which again I don't think its going to happen either. But hey i'll give it up to the Lord, which is all I can do. On the brigh side I got to see my new born neice Yay she looks just like Elizabeth. Good times Houston Good times......

church camp

From may 27th to August 2 I went to the ACTS retreat, which I call Church Camp. It was a blast I had so much fun interacting with the kids, and well being goofy. I'm not going to lie it was a lot of work and some very late nights but totally worth it! I went to sleep at like 2am and woke up around 7am and that made me cranky some days, lol and well I can't hide that. This year it was more emotionally draining this year that any in the past but im glad that these kids were able to get in touch with themselves and let God take the ropes of their lives. It was rough for them to let him in but ones you do its an awesome experience. Dear Sacred Heart kids yall drive me crazy about 80% of the time but I still love yall, lol. We had about 117 participants and 56 of them were there for the first time, which is awesome. I don't know if its a good thing that a lot of the kids knew me, and not just vernon or wichita falls kids, guess I'm that popular, jk jk.

Friday Night

Oh so Shahala and I decide to go to Chicken Express for dinner cause we love it and then to a Movie. The exciting part is that the movie was "the proposal" which I had already seen but it was so good that it deserved to be seen again, sorry on the good part. This lady in front of us decides that she will provide her own commentary for the movie, but it wasn't a whisper it was her full volume voice. It was funny at first but very irritating later and well it was funny cause she acted like she didn't know what the movie was about or had never seen the preview to the movie, so it made her comments even more annoying. Dear lady other people want to enjoy the movie as well......

ahhh another memorable movie
